[وهط] وَهَطَهُ يَهِطُهُ وَهْطاً: كسره. قال الأصمعيّ: يقال لما اطمأَنَّ من الأرض: وَهْطَةٌ، وهي لغةٌ في وَهْدَةٍ، والجمع وَهْطٌ ووِهاطٌ. ويقال وَهْطٌ من عُشَرٍ، كما يقال عيص من سدر. والوهط: اسم مال كان لعمرو بن العاص رضى الله عنه. وأوهطه، أي صرعه صَرعةً لا يقوم منها.
