وهث: وهَثَ الشيءَ وَهْثاً: وطئه وطْأً شديداً. والوَهْثُ: الانهماك في

الشيء.

والواهثُ: الملقي نَفْسَه في الشيء، وفي المحكم: الملقي نفسه في

هَلَكَةٍ.

وتَوَهَّثَ في الشيء إِذا أَمعن فيه.
