وقه وَقِهَ يَقِهُ أي أَطاعَ، وقِهْ فلاناً. واتَّقَهَ فلان أي انْتَهى عمَّا نُهِيَ عنه. واسْتَيْقَهَ فلان لفلانٍ أَطاعَهُ، وهوَ مَقلوبٌ من اسْتَقاهَ. والمُتَّقِهُ المُطيعُ.
