و ع ظ: (الْوَعْظُ) النُّصْحُ وَالتَّذْكِيرُ بِالْعَوَاقِبِ وَقَدْ (وَعَظَهُ) مِنْ بَابِ وَعَدَ وَ (عِظَةً) أَيْضًا بِالْكَسْرِ (فَاتَّعَظَ) أَيْ قَبِلَ (الْمَوْعِظَةَ) يُقَالُ: السَّعِيدُ مَنْ (وُعِظَ) بِغَيْرِهِ وَالشَّقِيُّ مَنِ (اتَّعَظَ) بِهِ غَيْرُهُ.
