ورم جلده، وفيه ورم وأورام، وتورّم وجهه، وأصبح مورّماً.

ومن المجاز: ورم أنفه إذا غضب. وفي حديث أبي بكر رضي الله عنه: " فكلكم ورِم أنفه أن يكون له الأمر من دونه ". وشجر وارم: كثير مجتمع. قال الجعديّ:

فتسامى زمخريّ وارم ... مالت الأعراف منه واكتهل

لا يمسك ماءه.
