ورس
الوَرْسُ: صبْغَ أحْمَرُ وأصْفَرُ. والتَّوْرِيْسُ: فِعْلُه.
والوارِسُ: شَيْء أصْفَرُ لَطْخٌ يَخْرُجُ على الرِّمْثِ، وقد أوْرَسَ الرِّمْثُ فهو مُوْرِسٌ ووارِسٌ. والوَرْسِي من الأقْدَاح: النُّضَارُ الخالِصُ، ومن الحَمَام: ضَرْبٌ يَضْرِبُ لَوْنُه إلى حُمْرَةٍ في صُفرَةٍ.
وجَمَل وارِسُ الخمْرَةِ: أي شَدِيْدُها. ووَرَفَ الصَّخْرَةُ في الماء: رَكِبَها الطحْلُبُ حَتّى تَمْلَاسَّ. وحِجَارَةٌ وارِسَةٌ.
