[وذف] نه: فيه: إنه نزل بأم معبد "وذفان" مخرجه إلى المدينة، أي عند مخرجه، كما تقول: حدثان مخرجه وسرعانه، والتوذف: مقاربة الخطر والتبختر في المشي، وقيل: الإسراع. ومنه ح الحجاج: خرج "يتوذف" حتى دخل على أسماء رضي الله عنها.
