وج

ى1 وَجِىَ and ↓ تَوَجَّى [said of a man, or of a horse or the like, or of a camel] His foot, or hoof, or فِرْسِن, was, or became, attenuated, and chafed, or abraded: (TA:) or he (a horse) experienced a pain in his hoof. (S.) 5 تَوَجَّىَ see 1.
[وجى] وجى الفرس بالسكر ، وهو أن يجد وجعاً في حافره، فهو وَجٍ والأنثى وَجْياءُ. وأوْجَيْتُهُ أنا. وإنَّه لَيَتَوَجَّى. ويقال: تركته وما في قلبي منه أَوْجَى، أي يَئِستُ منه. وسألته فأوْجَى على، أي بخل.
