والشاذ من الحَدِيث: هُوَ الَّذِي لَهُ إِسْنَاد وَاحِد يسند بذلك شيخ ثِقَة كَانَ أَو غير ثِقَة فَمَا كَانَ من غير ثِقَة فمتروك الأَصْل وَمَا كَانَ عَن ثِقَة يتَوَقَّف فِيهِ وَلَا يحْتَج بِهِ.
