1 هَانَ لَهُ

, aor. ـِ He treated him with gentleness, or blandishment; syn. دَارَاهُ. (Aboo-Is-hák, in TA, art. عن; but only the imp., هِنْ لَهُ, is there mentioned, said to be with kesr.) See عَزَّ, near the end, p. 2031, and the distinction there made between هِنْ and هُنْ.
