: (و (} هَصَا {هَصْواً) : أَهْمَلَهُ الجَوْهري.
وَقَالَ ابنُ الأعْرابي: أَي (أَسَنَّ وكَبِرَ) .
قالَ: (} والأَهْصاءُ الأشِداءُ) .
قالَ: ( {وهَاصاهُ) إِذا (كَسَرَ صُلْبَهُ) ؛ وصَاهاهُ رَكِبَ صَهْوَته؛ كَذَا فِي التكملةِ واللِّسانِ.
