[هزز] هززت الشئ هزا فاهتز، أي حرَّكته فتحرَّك. يقال: هَزَّ الحادي الإبل هَزًّا فاهْتَزَّتْ هي، إذا تحرَّكتْ في سيرها لحُدائه. واهْتَزَّ الكوكبُ في انقضاضه. وكوكبٌ هازٌّ. والهِزَّةُ، بالكسر: النشاطُ والارتياحُ، وصوت غليان القدر. 114 - صحاح واهتزاز الموكب أيضاً: صوتُهم وجَلبتهم. وهَزيزُ الريح: دويُّها عند هَزِّها الشجر. يقال: الريح تهزز الشجر فيتهزز. وهزهزه، أي حركه فتهزهز. والهَزاهِزُ: الفتنُ يهتزُّ فيها الناس. وسيف هزهاز، ونهر هزهز، بالضم. وأنشد الاصمعي: إذا استراثت ساقيا مستوفزا * بجت من البطحاء نهرا هزهزا * وهزان: حى من العرب. ومنه قول الشاعر : فلن تعدمي من اليمامة منكحا * وفتيان هزان الطوال الغرانقه
