[هرشم] الهرشم، بكسر الهاء وتشديد الميم: الحجر الرخو. وقال أبو زيد: الهِرْشَمُّ: الجبل الليِّن المحفر. وأنشد: هرشمة في جبل هرشم تبذل للجار ولابن العم والهرشمة من الغنم: الغزيرة، عن الفراء.
