الهِرْجَاسُ، بالكَسْر: للجَسِيمِ، قالَه الصّاغَانيُّ، وَهُوَ غَلَطٌ للجَوْهَرِيّ وغَيْرِه، يَعْنِي بِهِ ابنَ فارِسٍ، وَقد انْقَلَبَ عَلَيْهِمَا، وإنّمَا هُو الجِرْهاسُ، بِتَقْدِيمِ الجِيم على الرَّاء، وَقد ذكَرَه فِي مَوْضِعِه، وَقد ذَكَرَه ابنُ دُرَيْد واللَّيْثُ والأَزْهَرِيّ على الصِّحَّة.
