الهَتْكُ: أَنْ تَجْذِبَ سَيْراً وثَوْباً فَتَقْطَعَه من مَوْضِعِه، ومنه: رَجُلٌ مَهْتُوك السِّتْرِ: مُتَهَتِّكُه، ورَجُلٌ مُسْتَهْتِكٌ: لا يُبالي أنْ يُهْتَكَ سِتْرُه عن عَوْرَتِه. والهُتْكَةُ: ساعَةٌ من اللَّيْل للقَوْم إذا ساروا، وقد هاتَكْنا: سِرْنا في دُجاها.
