- فِي حَدِيثِ عَلِيٍّ وصِفِّين «قَدَّمَ لِلْوثْبة يَدًا، وأخَّر للنَّكوص رِجْلا» النُّكوُصُ: الرُّجوع إِلَى وَراء، وَهُوَ القَهْقَرَى. نَكَصَ يَنْكُصُ فَهُوَ نَاكِصٌ. وَقَدْ تَكَرَّرَ فِي الْحَدِيثِ.
