نأت: نَأَتَ يَنْئِتُ ويَنْأَت نأْتاً ونَئِيتاً، وأَنَّ يَئِنُّ
أَنِيناً، بمعنًى واحدٍ، غير أَن النَّئيتَ أَجْهَرُ من الأَنين. ونَأَتَ إِذا
أَنَّ، مثل نَهَتَ. ورجل نَأْآتٌ: مثل نَهَّاتٍ. ونَأَتَ نَأْتاً: سَعى
سَعْياً بطِيئاً.

نأت
مُهْمَلٌ أيضاً: نَأتَ يَنْأتُ: أي حَسَدَ. وكذلك إذ أنَّ أنِيْناً. والنئِيْتُ: اعْتِمَادُ الصَّدْرِ بالزَّفِيْرِ. ونَأتَ الحِمَارُ: نَهَقَ وصاحَ.
والنَّتأتُ: نَحْوُ النَّهاتِ.
وناتَ يَنُوْتُ نَوْتاً: أي تَمَايَلَ من النُعَاسِ. والنُّؤْتِيُّ: المَلاح. وُيقال للناسِ: النات.
