(نَيَبَ)
(هـ) فِيهِ «لَهُمْ مِنَ الصَّدَقة الثِّلْبُ والنَّابُ» هِيَ النَّاقَةُ الهَرِمة الَّتِي طَالَ نَابُهَا:
أَيْ سِنّها. وألفُه مُنْقلِبة عَنِ الْيَاءِ، لِقَولهم فِي جَمْعه: أَنْيَابٌ.
(س) وَمِنْهُ حَدِيثُ عُمَرَ «أعْطاه ثلاثةَ أنْيَابٍ جَزَائِرَ» .
(هـ) وَمِنْهُ الْحَدِيثُ «أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِقَيْسِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ: كَيْفَ أَنْتَ عِنْدَ الْقِرَى؟ قَالَ: أُلْصِقُ بِالنَّابِ الْفَانِيَةِ» .
(س) وَفِي حَدِيثِ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ «أنَّ ذِئباً نَيَّبَ فِي شاةٍ فَذَبَحُوهَا بمَرْوةٍ» أَيْ أنْشَب أَنْيَابَهُ فِيهَا. والنَّابُ: السِنُّ الَّتِي خَلْفَ الرَّباعِيَة.
