ن و ص: (النَّوْصُ) الْتأَخُّرُ، يُقَالُ: (نَاصَ) عَنْ قِرْنِهِ أَيْ فَرَّ وَرَاغَ وَبَابُهُ قَالَ. وَ (مَنَاصًا) أَيْضًا، وَمِنْهُ قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَلَاتَ حِينَ مَنَاصٍ} أَيْ لَيْسَ وَقْتَ تَأَخُّرٍ وَفِرَارٍ. وَ (الْمَنَاصُ) أَيْضًا الْمَلْجَأُ والْمَفَرُّ.
