(نَقَزَ) النُّونُ وَالْقَافُ وَالزَّاءُ أُصَيْلٌ يَدُلُّ عَلَى دِقَّةٍ وَخِفَّةٍ وَصِغَرٍ. مِنْهُ النَّقْزُ: الْوَثْبُ. وَنَوَاقِزُ الظَّبْيِ: قَوَائِمُهُ. وَنَقَزُ النَّاسِ: أَرْذَالُهُمْ. وَالنَّقَزُ: الرَّجُلُ الرَّدِيُّ وَالنُّقَازُ: دَاءٌ يَأْخُذُ الْغَنَمَ فَيَقْلَقُ عَنْهُ وَلَا يَسْتَقِرُّ. وَالنُّقَّازُ: صِغَارُ الْعَصَافِيرِ.
