ومن المجاز: نقّح الكلام. وخير الشعر الحوليّ المنقّح. وتقول: ما قرض الشعر المنقّح، إلا بالذّهن الملقّح. ورجل منقّح: مجرّبٌ. ونقّحته السنون: نالت منه. وتنقّح شحم النّاقة: ذهب بعض الذّهاب.
