نغو
ما سمعت له نَغْوَةً: في مَعْنى نَغْيَة.
(ن غ و)

مَا سَمِعت لَهُ نغوة: أَي كلمة.

نغو

3 نَاغَاهُ He interchanged speech with him, each of them addressing the other with a word or saying: (TA:) نَغَيْتُ إِلَيْهِ نَغْيَةٌ signifies I addressed to him a word or saying: and المُنَاغَاةُ signifies المُوَاجَهَةُ. (JK.)

: (و ( {النَّغْوَةُ) : أَهْملَهُ الجَوْهري.
وقالَ أَبو عَمْرو: النَّغْوَةُ و (النَّغْيَةُ:) النَّغْمَةُ.
(و) يقالُ: (} نَغَوْتُ) و (نَغَيْتُ) نَغْوَةً ونَغْيَةً؛ وكَذلكَ مَغَوْتُ ومَغَيْتُ؛ وَمَا سَمِعْتُ لَهُ نَغْوةً أَي كلمة.
وممَّا يُسْتدركُ عَلَيْهِ:
{نُغائي، بِالضَّمِّ والمَدِّ مُمالاً: جِيلٌ مِن الأكْرادِ.
