نسح

1 نَسَحَ, aor. ـَ (inf. n. نَسْحٌ, S,) He dispersed and removed dust; syn. أَذْرَى. (K, and some copies of the S.) A2: نَسِحَ, aor. ـَ (inf. n. نَسَحٌ, S,) He coveted; syn. طَمِعَ. (K, and some copies of the S.) مِنْسَاحٌ A thing with which dust is dispersed and removed. (K.)

نسح

1 نَشَحَ, aor. ـَ inf. n. نَشْحٌ and نُشُوحٌ, He drank a little, (L,) less than what would satisfy him: (S, L, K:) or, contr., he drank until he was full: (L, K:) as also ↓ انتشح. (L.) b2: نَشَحَ He gave his camel a little water to drink: (L:) he watered horses so as to allay the vehemence of their thirst. (T, L, K.) 8 إِنْتَسَحَ see 1.

نَشُوحٌ A little water. (S, K.) Abu-n-Nejm says, describing asses, حَتَّى إِذَا مَا غَيَّبَتْ نَشُوحَا (S, L,) meaning Until, when they had taken into their bellies a little water: or نشوح signifies a drink less than suffices to satisfy. (L.)
