[نحت] نَحَتَهُ يَنْحِتُهُ بالكسر نَحْتاً، أي براه. والنُحاتة: البُراية. والمِنْحَتُ: ما يُنْحَتُ به. والنَحيتة: الطبيعة. والنَحيتُ: الدخيل في القوم. قال الشاعر : الخالطينَ نَحيتَهُمْ بنُضارِهِمْ * وذَوي الغِنى منهم بِذي الفَقرِ والحافرُ النحيت: الذى ذهبت حروفه.
