(نبذ) - في الحديث: "فأمرَ بالسِّتْرِ أن يُقطَع، ويُجعَلَ منه وِسَادَتان مَنبُوذَتانِ"
: أي لَطيفَتان تُنْبَذان وتُطرَحان لِلقُعُود عليهما لخِفَّتِهما.

(نَبَذَ) النُّونُ وَالْبَاءُ وَالذَّالُ أَصْلٌ صَحِيحٌ يَدُلُّ عَلَى طَرْحٍ وَإِلْقَاءٍ. وَنَبَذْتُ الشَّيْءَ أَنْبِذُهُ نَبْذًا: أَلْقَيْتُهُ مِنْ يَدِي. وَالنَّبِيذُ: التَّمْرُ يُلْقَى فِي الْآنِيَةِ وَيُصَبُّ عَلَيْهِ الْمَاءُ. يُقَالُ: نَبَذْتُ أَنْبِذُ. وَالصَّبِيُّ الْمَنْبُوذُ: الَّذِي تُلْقِيهِ أُمُّهُ. وَيُقَالُ: بِأَرْضِ كَذَا نَبْذٌ مِنْ مَالٍ، أَيْ شَيْءٌ يَسِيرٌ. وَفِي رَأْسِهِ نَبْذٌ مِنَ الشَّيْبِ، أَيْ يَسِيرٌ، كَأَنَّهُ الَّذِي يُنْبَذُ لِقِلَّتِهِ وَصِغَرِهِ. وَكَذَلِكَ النَّبْذُ مِنَ الْمَطَرِ.
