ونَئفْتُ من الطعام أنْأفُ نَأفاً: إذا أكلته.
ونَئفَ في الشرب: أي ارتوى.
وقال أبو عمرو: نَأفَ: إذا جدّ، وهو مِنْأفٌ.

نأُفٍّ
{نَئِفَ مِنَ الطَّعامِ، كسَمِعَ} نَأْفاً: أَكَلَ مِنْهُ، نقلَهُ الجوهرِيُّ عَن أَبِي زَيْدٍ، زادَ أَبو عَمْرٍ و: ويَصْلُحُ فِي الشُّرْبِ أَيْضا، وَقَالَ ابنُ سِيدَه: نَئِفَ الشيءَ {نَأْفاً} ونَأَفاً: أَكَلَه، وقيلَ: هُوَ أَكْلُ خِيارِ الشَّيْءِ وأَوَّلِه.
! ونَئِفَت الرَّاعِيَةُ المَرْعَى: أَكَلَتْه. وزَعَمَ أَبو حَنِيفَةَ: أنّه على تَأْخِيرِ الهَمْزَةِ، قالَ: ولَيْسَ هَذَا بقَوِيٍّ. ونَئِفَ فِي الشُّرْبِ: أَي ارْتَوَى كَذَا نصُّ الصِّحاحِ، وَهُوَ قَوْلُ أَبِي عَمْرٍ و، وقالَ غيرُه: نَئِفَ من الشَّرابِ نَأْفاً، ونَأَفاً: رَوِى. وَقَالَ ابنُ الأَعْرابيِّ: نَئِفَ فُلاناً: إِذا كَرِهَهُ كأَنِفَه، وَقد تَقَدَّم فِي أَن ف. وَقَالَ أَبو عَمْرٍو:! نَأَفَ كمَنَع: أَي جَدَّ، وَمِنْه قولُهم: هُوَ مِنْأَفٌ، كمِنْبَرٍ كَمَا فِي العُبابِ.
