بالكسر ثم السكون، وجيم مفتوحة: موضع في بلاد بني ضمرة، قال كثير:
أفي رسم أطلال بشطب فمرجم ... دوارس لمّا استنطقت لم تكلّم
وقال فيروز الديلمي:
هاجتك دمنة منزل ... بين المراض فمرجم
وكأنما نسج التراب ... سفا الرياح بمعلم
