مِحْصَنٌ:
بكسر أوله، وسكون ثانيه، وفتح الصاد، وآخره نون، كذا ذكره الأديبي، وهو القفل في اللغة إن كان منقولا منه أو مشبها به فجائز وإن كان من الحصانة والمنعة فقياسه محصن لأنه من حصن يحصن، واسم المكان منه محصن: دارة محصن، وقد ذكرت في الدارات من هذا الكتاب.
