قرية من قرى نهر الملك كانت أولا مدينة، ولها ذكر في أخبار الفرس، وهي على شاطئ نهر الملك، ينسب إليها من المتأخرين حمّاد بن سعيد أبو عبد الله الضرير المقرئ المنوني، قدم بغداد وقرأ القرآن وروي عنه أناشيد.
