(مهم) - في حديث زيد : "مَهْمَا تُجَشِّمْنى"
هي "ما" المضمنة معنى الشَّرط مزيدة عليها "ما" التي قيل إنها للتأكيد.
والمعنى: أىّ شىء تُجَشِّمنى فأنا جاشِمُه.
- في حديث سَطِيح:
* أَزْرَقُ مُمْهَى النَّابِ .. *
: كذا أورده الزمخشرى؛ أي مُحَدَّد
نصَبَ إبلَه، وشَبَّهه بالنَّمِر لزُرقَةِ عَينِه.

(هـ س) فِي حَدِيثِ سَطِيحٍ:
أَزْرَقُ مَهْمُ النَّابِ صَرَّارُ الأذُنْ
أَيْ حَديد النَّاب.
قَالَ الأزهريُّ: هَكَذَا رُوِيَ، وأظُنُّه «مَهْوُ النَّابِ» بِالْوَاوِ. يقالُ: سيفٌ مَهْوٌ:
أَيْ حديدٌ ماضٍ.
وأوْرَدَه الزَّمَخْشَرِيُّ:
أزْرَقُ مُمْهَى النَّابِ صَرَّارُ الأذُنْ
وَقَالَ
: «المُمْهَى: المُحَدَّدُ» ، مِن أَمْهَيْتُ الحديدةَ، إِذَا أحْدَدْتَها. شَبَّهَ بَعِيَرُه بالنِمرِ، لزُرْقَةِ عَيْنَيْه، وسُرْعَةِ سَيْرِه.
(س) وَفِي حَدِيثِ زَيْدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو «مَهْمَا تُجَشِّمْني تَجَشَّمْتُ» مَهْما: حرفٌ مِنْ حُروفِ الشَّرْطِ الَّتِي يُجَازَى بِهَا، تَقُولُ: مَهْمَا تَفْعَلْ أَفْعَلْ.
قِيلَ: إِنَّ أَصْلَهَا: مَامَا، فَقُلِبَتِ الْأَلِفُ الْأُولَى هَاءً. وَقَدْ تَكَرَّرَتْ فِي الحديث.
