- فِي حَدِيثِ مُعَاوِيَةَ «أَنَّ رَجُلَين تداعَيا عندَه، وَكَانَ أحَدُهما مِخْلَطاً مِزْيلا» المِزْيَلُ بِكَسْرِ الْمِيمِ وَسُكُونِ الزَّايِ: الجَدِلُ فِي الخُصوماتِ، الَّذِي يَزُولُ مِنْ حُجَّة إِلَى حُجَّةٍ.
وأصلُها الْوَاوُ. والميمُ زائدةٌ.
