مدقس: مدقس= دمقس: ليس هو الزئبق، كما يقول 0فريتاج) أبدا وإنما هو الحرير والحرير الأبيض خاصة. ولا أدري كيف وقع في هذا الخطأ الغريب. إن قاموس كلكتا الذي استخدمه كان على صواب حين ذكر أن الدمقس هو الابريسم.
