المجنون: هو من لم يستقم كلامه وأفعاله، فالمطبق منه شهر عند أبي حنيفة رحمه الله؛ لأنه يسقط به الصوم، وعند أبي يوسف أكثره يوم؛ لأنه يسقط به الصلوات الخمس، وعند محمد رحمه الله حول كامل، وهو الصحيح؛ لأنه يسقط جميع العبادات، كالصوم والصلاة والزكاة.
