متج: أَبو السَّمَيْدَعِ: سِرْنا عَقَبةً مَتُوجاً أَي بعيدة، قال:

وسمعت مُدْرِكاً ومُبْتكراً الجَعْفَرِيَّيْنِ يقولان: سِرْنا عَقَبةً

مَتُوجاً ومَتُوحاً ومَتُوخاً أَي بعيدةً، فإِذا هي ثلاث لغات.
