ليقن: ليقن: في (محيط المحيط) ليقن الشيء طلاه بالليقونة.
ليقونة: في (محيط المحيط) هي طلاء يعمل من السبيداج والزيت الحار تطلى بها الشقوف لتمنع نفوذ الماء ونحوه وهما من كلام المولدين (أي ليقن وليقونة). هي ما يطلق عليه الزجّاجون اسم (الماستيكة) وهي عند (بوشر): لاقونة.
