(لَوَنَ) اللَّامُ وَالْوَاوُ وَالنُّونُ كَلِمَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ، وَهِيَ سَحْنَةُ الشَّيْءِ: مِنْ ذَلِكَ اللَّوْنُ: لَوْنُ الشَّيْءِ، كَالْحُمْرَةِ وَالسَّوَادِ، وَيُقَالُ: تَلَوَّنَ فُلَانٌ: اخْتَلَفَتْ أَخْلَاقُهُ. وَاللَّوْنُ: جِنْسٌ مِنَ التَّمْرِ. وَاللِّينَةُ: النَّخْلَةُ، مِنْهُ، وَأَصْلُ الْيَاءِ فِيهَا وَاوٌ. قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى: {مَا قَطَعْتُمْ مِنْ لِينَةٍ} [الحشر: 5] . وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِالصَّوَابِ.
