[لغم] نه: فيه: يصيبني "لغامها"، هو لعابها وزبدها من فيها، سمي بالملاغم وهي ما حول الفم مما يبلغه اللسان. ومنه ح: ويسيل "لغامها" بين كتفي. وح: يستعمل "ملاغمه"، جمع ملغم.

(لَغَمَ) اللَّامُ وَالْغَيْنُ وَالْمِيمُ كَلِمَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ صَحِيحَةٌ، وَهِيَ الْمَلَاغِمُ: مَا حَوْلَ الْفَمِ. وَمِنْهُ قَوْلُهُمْ: تَلَغَّمْتُ بِالطِّيبِ: جَعَلْتُهُ هُنَاكَ. قَالَ ابْنُ دُرَيْدٍ: تَلَغَّمَ بِالطِّيبِ: تَلَطَّخَ. فَأَمَّا قَوْلُهُمْ: لَغَمْتُ أَلْغَمُ لَغْمًا، إِذَا أَخْبَرْتَ صَاحِبَكَ بِشَيْءٍ لَا يَسْتَيْقِنُهُ، فَهُوَ مِنَ الْإِبْدَالِ، إِنَّمَا هُوَ نَغَمْتُ بِالنُّونِ. قَالَ الْخَلِيلُ: لَغَمَ الْبَعِيرُ لُغَامَهُ: رَمَى بِهِ.
