(لَطَّ) اللَّامُ وَالطَّاءُ أُصَيْلٌ صَحِيحٌ، يَدُلُّ عَلَى مُقَارَبَةٍ وَمُلَازَمَةٍ وَإِلْحَاحٍ مِنْ ذَلِكَ قَوْلُهُمْ: أَلَطَّ الرَّجُلُ، إِذَا اشْتَدَّ فِي الْأَمْرِ. وَيُقَالُ لَطَّ بِهِ: لَزِمَهُ. وَكُلُّ شَيْءٍ سُتِرَ بِشَيْءٍ فَقَدْ لُطَّ بِهِ. وَلَطَّتِ النَّاقَةُ بِذَنَبِهَا، إِذَا جَعَلَتْهُ بَيْنَ فَخِذَيْهَا فِي مَسِيرِهَا. وَاللَّطُّ: قِلَادَةٌ مِنْ حَنْظَلٍ، وَسُمِّيَتْ لَطًّا لِمُلَازَمَتِهَا النَّحْرَ. وَالْجَمْعُ لِطَاطٌ. وَاللِّطَاطُ: حَرَّفَ الْجَبَلَ. وَمِلْطَاطُ الْبَعِيرِ: حَرْفٌ فِي وَسَطِ رَأْسِهِ. وَالْمِلْطَاطُ: حَافَةُ الْوَادِي، وَسُمِّيَ كُلُّ ذَلِكَ لِأَنَّهُ مُلَازِمٌ لَا يُفَارِقُ. وَاللِّطْلِطُ: الْعَجُوزُ الْكَبِيرَةُ، لِأَنَّهَا مُلَازِمَةٌ لِمَكَانِهَا لَا تَكَادُ تَبْرَحُ.
