لَصِبَ الجِلْدُ باللَّحْمِ، كَفَرِحَ: لَزِقَ هُزالاً،
وـ السَّيْفُ في الغِمْدِ: نَشِبَ،
وـ الخاتَمُ في الإِصْبَعِ: ضدُّ قَلِقَ.
واللِّصْبُ، بالكسرِ: الشِّعْبُ الصَّغيرُ في الجَبَلِ، أضْيَقُ من اللِّهْبِ وأوسَعُ من الشِّعْبِ، أو مَضِيقُ الوادي، ج: لِصابٌ ولُصوبٌ. وككَتِفٍ: ضَرْبٌ من السُّلْتِ، والبَخيلُ العَسِرُ الأَخْلاقِ.
واللَّواصِبُ: الآبارُ الضَّيِّقَةُ، البَعيدَةُ القَعرِ.
وسَيفٌ مِلْصابٌ: يَنْشَبُ في الغِمْدِ كثيراً.
وطَريقٌ مُلْتَصِبٌ: ضَيِّقٌ.

(لَصَبَ) اللَّامُ وَالصَّادُ وَالْبَاءُ أَصْلٌ صَحِيحٌ يَدُلُّ عَلَى ضِيقٍ وَتَضَايُقٍ. فَاللِّصْبُ: مَضِيقُ الْوَادِي. وَيُقَالُ لَصِبَ الْجِلْدُ بِاللَّحْمِ يَلْصَبُ، إِذَا لَزِقَ بِهِ. وَفُلَانٌ لَحِزٌ لَصِبٌ: لَا يَكَادُ يُعْطِي شَيْئًا. وَلَصِبَ الْخَاتَمُ فِي الْإِصْبَعِ: ضِدُّ قَلِقَ. وَيُقَالُ إِنَّ اللَّوَاصِبَ: الْآبَارُ الضَّيِّقَةُ الْبَعِيدَةُ الْقَعْرِ. قَالَ كُثَيِّرٌ:

لَوَاصِبُ قَدْ أَصْبَحَتْ وَانْطَوَتْ ... وَقَدْ طَوَّلَ الْحَيُّ عَنْهَا لَبَاثَا.
