(لَسَبَ) اللَّامُ وَالسِّينُ وَالْبَاءُ أَصْلٌ يَدُلُّ عَلَى إِصَابَةِ شَيْءٍ لِشَيْءٍ بِحِدَّةٍ. يُقَالُ: لَسَبَتْهُ الْعَقْرَبُ. وَلَسِبْتُ الْعَسَلَ، إِذَا لَعِقْتَهُ. وَالْقِيَاسُ وَاحِدٌ، وَفُرِّقَ بَيْنَهُمَا بِالْحَرَكَاتِ. قَالَ أَبُو زَيْدٍ: لَسَبَهَ أَسْوَاطًا: ضَرَبَهُ. وَيَقُولُونَ، وَهُوَ مِنْ غَيْرِ هَذَا. إِنَّ اللَّسْبَ: الْجَمْعُ. وَيُقَالُ لَسِبَ بِالشَّيْءِ، إِذَا لَزِقَ، وَهُوَ مِنَ الْكَلِمَةِ الْأُولَى.
