لخلخ (بالتشديد): تخلخل، تذبذب، ترجرج (بوشر). لخلخة: نوع عطر والجمع لخالخ (معجم المنصوري).
لخلخة: مصدر الفعل تخلخل، ذبذبة، رجرجة (بوشر).
ملخلخ: متذبذب، مهتز، كان في خطر خسارة منصبه أو مركزه، ليس ثابت العزم.

(هـ) فِي حَدِيثِ مُعَاوِيَةَ «قَالَ: أَيُّ النَّاس أفْصَح؟ فقَال رجَلٌ: قومٌ ارْتَفَعُوا عَنْ لَخْلَخَانِيَّة العِراق» هِيَ اللُّكْنَة فِي الْكَلَامِ والعُجْمَة.
وَقِيلَ: هُوَ مَنْسُوبٌ إِلَى لَخْلَخَان، وَهُوَ قَبِيلة، وَقِيلَ: مَوْضع.
[هـ] وَمِنْهُ الْحَدِيثُ «كُنَّا بمَوْضِع كَذا وكَذا، فأتَى رجلٌ فِيهِ لَخْلَخَانِيَّة» .
