كُرِينُ:
بالضم ثم الكسر، وآخره نون قبلها ياء مثناة من تحت: قرية من قرى طبس بنواحي قهستان، ويروى بتشديد الراء، وقيل: هي إحدى الطّبسين، ينسب إليها أبو جعفر محمد بن كثير الكريني، سمع أبا عبد الله محمد بن إبراهيم بن سعيد العبدي، روى عنه أبو عبد الله محمد بن علي بن جعفر الطبسي.
