كتكت: كتكت: مُشاقة الحرير، مشاقة غليظة من الحرير. وكتكت الحرير: مشاقة (جلاغة) الحرير، خيط مشاقة الحرير، حرير غليظ. (بوشر) وهو نفاية الحرير، وحثالة أنظر ألف ليلة (276:4): حيث تقول فتاة وهي غضبى: فهل أنا مَنْ كتكت المُشاق، أو منْ مهلهل الأخلاق، حتى تطوف بي علي شيخ بعد شيخ.
كَتْكُوت، والجمع كَتاكِيت: فرخ الدجاج وذلك أول ما يخرج من البيضة. قوبي. (بوشر همبرت ص184).
