كوفل: كَوفَل: يقال عن الأمّ كوفلت طفلها أي إنها بفّته بالكوفليّة لشيه مخدّة يشد بها الطفل وهما من الكلام العامة (محيط المحيط: وفي هذا الشرح بعض الغموض).
