كشكاب: مركبة من كلمتي كشك العربية وآب الأعجمية ومعناها ماء الشعير. نوع من الشراب يصنع من دقيق الشعير (الغزال: أيها الولد 5، 1، 8 طبعة هامر) لو كان لرجل حرارة أو مرض صفراوي يكون علاجه بالسكنجبين والكشكاب.
