ك س ل: (الْكَسَلُ) التَّثَاقُلُ عَنِ الْأَمْرِ وَبَابُهُ طَرِبَ فَهُوَ (كَسْلَانُ) وَقَوْمٌ (كُسَالَى) بِضَمِّ الْكَافِ وَفَتْحِهَا وَإِنْ شِئْتَ كَسَرْتَ اللَّامَ كَمَا قُلْنَا فِي الصَّحَارَى.

(كَسِلَ)
(هـ) فِيهِ «لَيْسَ فِي الإِكْسَال إلاَّ الطَّهورُ» أَكْسَل الرجُل: إِذَا جامَع ثُمَّ أدْرَكه فُتُور فَلَمْ يُنْزل. وَمَعْنَاهُ صارَ ذَا كَسل.
وَفِي كِتَابِ «العَيْن» : كَسِل الفَحْلُ إِذَا فَتَرَ عَنِ الضِّرَاب. وأنشد : أإنْ كَسِلْتُ والحصَانُ يَكْسَلُ
ومَعْنى الْحَدِيثِ: لَيْسَ فِي الإِكْسَال غُسْلٌ، وَإِنَّمَا فِيهِ الْوُضُوءُ.
وَهَذَا عَلَى مَذْهَبِ مَنْ رَأَى أنَّ الغُسْل لَا يَجِبُ إلاَّ مِنَ الْإِنْزَالِ، وَهُوَ مَنْسُوخٌ.
والطَّهور هَاهُنَا يُروَى بِالْفَتْحِ، ويُرادُ بِهِ التَّطَهُّر.
وَقَدْ أثْبَت سِيبَوَيْهِ الطَّهورَ والوَضُوء والوَقُود، بِالْفَتْحِ، فِي الْمَصَادِرِ.

(كَسَلَ) الْكَافُ وَالسِّينُ وَاللَّامُ أَصْلٌ صَحِيحٌ، وَهُوَ التَّثَاقُلُ عَنِ الشَّيْءِ وَالْقُعُودُ عَنْ إِتْمَامِهِ أَوْ عَنْهُ. مِنْ ذَلِكَ الْكَسَلُ. وَالْإِكْسَالُ: أَنْ يُخَالِطَ الرَّجُلُ أَهْلَهُ وَلَا يُنْزِلَ. وَيُقَالُ ذَلِكَ فِي فَحْلِ الْإِبِلِ أَيْضًا. وَامْرَأَةٌ مِكْسَالٌ: لَا تَكَادُ تَبْرَحُ بَيْتَهَا.
