(هـ) فِي حَدِيثِ الْخَنْدَقِ «فأخَذَ الكِرْزِين فَحفر» الكِرْزِين: الفَأس.
وَيُقَالُ لَهُ: كِرْزَن أَيْضًا بِالْفَتْحِ والكسر ، والجمْع: كَرَازِين وكَرَازِن. وَمِنْهُ حَدِيثُ أُمِّ سَلَمة «مَا صَدّقْتُ بِمَوْتِ رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم حتى سَمعْت وقْعَ الكَرَازِين» .
