كذا وكذا: يكنى بهما عن الحديث الطويل، ومثله كيت وكيت والكاف في كذا للتشبيه، وذا للإشارة، ولما ركبا جعلا اسما لما امتد من الحديث، ويستعملان في العدد لكثرته ذكره أبو البقاء.
