كَدَّ(n. ac. كَدّ)
a. Worked, toiled, laboured; exerted himself; sought
sustenance.
b. Plied, pressed hard; wearied, overworked, jaded;
distressed, dispirited, harassed.
c. Scratched, scraped; combed (head).
d. Trampled, stamped the ground.
e. [acc. & Bi], Beckoned to .... with the finger (
beggar ).
f. Pulled, drew out; extricated.
g. [ coll. ], Goaded, pricked on (
animal ).
كَدَّدَa. Drove away.

أَكْدَدَa. Was tenacious, niggardly.
