الكَثُّ والأكَثُّ: نَعْتُ الكَثِيرِ اللَّحْيَةِ، ومَصْدَرُه الكُثوثَةُ والكَثَث. ولحْيَة كَثّاءُ، تَكَثُّ كُثُوثَةً. والكَثْكَثُ: دُقَاقُ التُرَابِ، بِفِيْهِ الكَثْكَثُ.
وكَثَّ فلانٌ بخَرْئه: رَمى به.
والكُثْكُثى - مَقْصُورٌ -: لُعْبَةٌ بالتُّراب. والكَثَاثَاءُ: أرْضٌ كثيرةُ التُّرَاب.
